NLT Bible Promise Book (PART 1)

"The Bible! A manual for life, a book of answers, a book of revelation!"
We've heard it so many times yet we barely read it if not to say NEVER lol.
I don't know for you but it took me aaaaaggggggges to figure out HOW to read that book! I mean that Book is huge! I never knew where to start and trust me this can be very discouraging!
So one day I did myself a HUGE favour and went to by this booklet called "the NLT BIBLE-Promise Book" (NLT standing for new living translation) which helped me so much and still does when I need to find a specific message in the Bible for a specific problem or a specific answer for a specific question I might have.
I thought I shouldn't keep it for myself but share it with you!
So here it is for those who find it quite difficult to "navigate" in the Bible.

ACCEPTANCE

When you're having troubles accepting life's circumstances...

You suffered along with those who were thrown into jail, and when all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy. You knew there were better things waiting for you that will last forever.
      Hebrews 10:34

ANGER

When you're feeling angry at others...

Dear friends never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, "I will take revenge; I will pay them back," says the Lord.
    Romans 12:19

 "Don't sin by letting anger control you." Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.
   Ephesians 4:26-27

When you're afraid God is angry at you...

His anger lasts only one moment, but his favour lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes in the morning.
    Psalm 30:5

BEGINNINGS

When you feel the need to start over...

Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning.
   Lamentations 3:23

BLESSINGS

  

When you want to experience God's blessings...

Blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence.
  Jeremiah 17:7

When you wonder about the blessings that come from obeying God...

The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.
   Psalm 84:11

CHANGE

When you need to make a change...

Don't copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
   Romans 12:2

COMFORT

When it seems there is no one to comfort you...

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
   Psalm 23:4

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted.
  Psalm 34:18

CONTENTMENT

When you're feeling dissatisfied...

I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength.
   Philippians 4:11-13

Don't love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, "I will never fail you. I will never abandon you."
    Hebrews 13:5

COURAGE

When you need to be brave...

This is my command- be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
  Joshua 1:9

Don't be afraid , for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
  Isaiah 41:10
