Right now I feel like life is too much, I can feel the weight of some circumstances on my shoulders, I need encouragement and strength, I need to feel Your Holy presence even more LORD.
This is the song that came in through my mind...

"Let Me Touch You" by Kirk Franklin-a man who through his songs, helps me make it through the days-is a song that reminds me that if there is no one to help me God is there, it is a song that puts me "back on track" whenever I feel like giving up.
I call on The Father with this song, I find inner peace with this song, I strenghten my faith through this song, I burst out in tears because of the anointing power of this song!
Yet there are others songs but RIGHT NOW this is THE one!

NLT Bible Promise Book (PART 1)

"The Bible! A manual for life, a book of answers, a book of revelation!"
We've heard it so many times yet we barely read it if not to say NEVER lol.
I don't know for you but it took me aaaaaggggggges to figure out HOW to read that book! I mean that Book is huge! I never knew where to start and trust me this can be very discouraging!
So one day I did myself a HUGE favour and went to by this booklet called "the NLT BIBLE-Promise Book" (NLT standing for new living translation) which helped me so much and still does when I need to find a specific message in the Bible for a specific problem or a specific answer for a specific question I might have.
I thought I shouldn't keep it for myself but share it with you!
So here it is for those who find it quite difficult to "navigate" in the Bible.

ACCEPTANCE

When you're having troubles accepting life's circumstances...

You suffered along with those who were thrown into jail, and when all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy. You knew there were better things waiting for you that will last forever.
      Hebrews 10:34

ANGER

When you're feeling angry at others...

Dear friends never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say, "I will take revenge; I will pay them back," says the Lord.
    Romans 12:19

 "Don't sin by letting anger control you." Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry, for anger gives a foothold to the devil.
   Ephesians 4:26-27

When you're afraid God is angry at you...

His anger lasts only one moment, but his favour lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes in the morning.
    Psalm 30:5

BEGINNINGS

When you feel the need to start over...

Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning.
   Lamentations 3:23

BLESSINGS

  

When you want to experience God's blessings...

Blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence.

When you wonder about the blessings that come from obeying God...

The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.

CHANGE

When you need to make a change...

Don't copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
   Romans 12:2

COMFORT

When it seems there is no one to comfort you...

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.
   Psalm 23:4

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted.
  Psalm 34:18

CONTENTMENT

When you're feeling dissatisfied...

I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength.
   Philippians 4:11-13

Don't love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, "I will never fail you. I will never abandon you."
    Hebrews 13:5

COURAGE

When you need to be brave...

This is my command- be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
  Joshua 1:9

Don't be afraid , for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
  Isaiah 41:10

I know it's never been easy my friend.

But can I encourage you to smile? Smile because tomorrow is another day...

I know your daddy went away, he was barely home or never even been there.

But can I encourage you to smile? Smile because tomorrow is another day...

I know you feel weak in your body my friend.

Sickness is always present trying to fight you and declaring itself winner.

But hey! you made it til this day!

I know your mother isn't the best...

She has done mistakes and have a character of her own.

She comes home late her breath always smelling alcohol...

I know my friend, I know you have a broken heart. The one you love did you wrong and walked away.

The sound of his/her voice is no longer music to your ears. No! It is pure nightmare.

But can I encourage you to smile? Smile because tomorrow is another day...

I know you've been abused my friend. Physically, mentally, emotionally abused dear friend.

You feel useless, worthless...It is a dark secret that you do not want to share.

But can I at least encourage you to smile? Smile because tomorrow is another day...

I know you think time is passing you by; you still single with no kids and haven't found the one.

But can I encourage you to smile? Smile because tomorrow is another day...

I know you've got so much anger in your heart my friend. It is eating you up and all you want is to shout.

You are wondering why? You're wondering How? You're wondering When? And still you don't understand!

Dear friend you won't find the answers if you don't let go of the anger...

So can I first encourage you to smile? Smile because tomorrow is another day...

I know you're struggling to find yourself. You wanna prove to your family, your parents and your siblings that you can be a real man.

But in this struggle can I encourage you to smile? Smile because tomorrow is another day...

I know you've spoken to Suicide. You've invited her to your house and asked her to take you with her. But you've changed your mind and decided to stay.

So isn't it a reason to smile? Yes tomorrow is another day...

I know money is running away and debts inviting themselves. You're stressing out not knowing where to cry for help.

But fear nothing dear friend. The Great I AM has got it under control.

So can I encourage you to smile? Tomorrow is another day...

Life is a battle field in which, through Christ, we are meant to win!
So no matter what the problems are, what the challenges are, if you're still alive and holding on it's because God wanted it.
Always remember this:
- your past will not determine your future. Choose not to let your hurtful past holding you from the beautiful future that God has in plan for you.
- your parents' experience aren't your experience. Your are an individual person who has been made new in Christ
- God is stronger than any disease, abuse, addiction! His love is more powerful than a feeling of loneliness.
- His love restores, heals, brings deliverance. His love is pure, kind, unconditional, eternal.
- His love is beyond what you expect or even deserve.
- He is your Shelter, your Provider, your Healer, your secret Keeper
- In Him you'll find peace of heart, confidence, a joy you can't explain,
wisdom and strength to make it through the days.
The past may be horrible and the present be difficult but do not despair...
He holds the future in his hands.

Be that bird!
Smile when life is hard.
Smile in the darkest times.
Believe in yourself!
Strong, powerful and PURPOSEFUL! Those are your names!
